Ashitaka leaves his village with the instructions that he is not to ever return, so he takes his bow and sets off. His only option is to leave the secluded village he has grown up in and venture to the forest where a magical spirit lives that can heal anything. But it was a vey good little movie, about two hours long, about a boy named Ashitaka and his quest to rid himself of a horrible evil disease that threatens to eat him alive. Unfortunately, none of the theaters near where I live were showing it, so I had to miss out. ![]() In case you hadn't heard, Princess Mononoke is a Japanese anime movie that was translated and shown in some theaters a while ago. One of my friends somehow got his hands on a video release of Princess Mononoke, and he was nice enough to let me borrow it, so I managed to get a lot of pictures from the movie.
